I just launched a free invoice builder that also allows freelancers to help raise funds for nonprofits who need creative work done: https://goodgigs.app/freelancers

Similar to when a supermarket asks you to round up for charity. The difference is that when a nonprofit gig is funded, the funds raised are circulated back into the pockets of the freelancers. So freelancers can get paid to use their skills for good.

I built it on no-code platform Bubble. I would love any feedback/thoughts!

I've started sharing https://moviemedium.io with friends and network.

It's a game where you predict Rotten Tomatoes of upcoming movies against your friends. Slack integration coming soon - b/c who doesn't think they're the biggest movie guru in their office?

      1. 2

        Groupme specifically...

        • it has a super simple API, low technical barrier to entry
        • that's my and my friends' go-to group chat app

Generally why I chose to integrate with a social chat platform vs. standalone

        • Go where people are already spending their time
        • Leverage their validated socializing capabilities
        • Makes less work for development (notifications, etc.)
        • Chat bots seem to be gaining popularity/traction

    Here's something I whipped up yesterday: https://taormina.io/gem-trader.png

It's meant to be a clicker game where you collect gems to build better mines. With fewer spots available than types of gems, there's always something you're missing and different upgrades will require different resources. I was planning on having it be free with IAP of gems as an "impatience button".

I was considering some idle RPG elements and an auction house where players can trade for what they don't have, but I also kind of like the idea of this being an entirely local to the device game that doesn't need the network.

I'm a big fan. I was formerly an Android developer on a larger mobile team, and as a one man shop, it is awesome to only have one codebase. Danger World (danger.world) is also a Flutter app. The live reload is great. The fact that I can write native code if needed makes me feel good about it. My biggest warning might be that parts of it, especially in around the plugins are rapidly being updated. But it'll mature.

This month I launched Ipregistry (https://ipregistry.co). My fourth project!

    1. 2

Nice! Just what I need for http://paybutton.app

I'll sign up and start using it for PayButton. Feels good to support fellow indiehackers. 💃

Thanks for your support! Do not hesitate to reach out for feedback or help with something.

I launched TexAu this month and started a closed beta. We now have around 200 beta users and 100+ people in the waiting list currently to receive beta access. It's been an amazing month so far.

    So what is TexAu?

We are building the most powerful lead generation and growth tool for all kinds of businesses and companies. Consider us a better alternative to PhantomBuster, ActiveCampaign, and Integromat. We pull the content from the web, filter data and automate the lead generation funnel. Our mission is to automate the lead generation and manual process than sales and growth teams have been doing since years.

I'll be to give direct access to Indie Hackers community members to our platform to receive feedback and thoughts on our product. Just comment here or drop a message to me on Twitter

Our website doesn't have much, we are still working on it: https://www.texau.com

We have been already accepted by MongoDB, SendGrid and AWS Activate startup accelerator program. Overall an amazing month for us at TexAu. 🙂🙏🏻🎉

    Hey Indies,

This month we launched ProjectCamp, a powerful Project Management system for Freelancers & Small Digital Agencies. To be honest it lacks many features but working super hard to release a new version soon.

You can check it here: https://codecanyon.net/item/projectcamp-powerful-project-management-web-application/24061815

    The technologies used are:

    1. Laravel PHP framework.
    2. Vuejs + Vuetify
    3. MySQL database.

    Any feedback highly appreciated.

  8. 1

Opened up https://narrowr.com to the public and started talking about it with a bunch of people 😀Kinda baffled how useful the first feedback was and excited to get it off the ground!

  9. 1

I soft-launched https://steinhq.com yesterday. It allows you to use Google Sheets as an easy, no-setup database for applications, forms, etc.

In a few days, I'll make the announcements. Till now, I've just sent out an email to the subscribers.

Nonetheless, you can sign up too. I'd love to know your views!

  10. 1

    Yes, just started https://www.urgentindex.com
    All feedbacks welcome!!!!

    1. 1

Interesting...not being an SEO expert, how long does it normally take for a post to get indexed?

      1. 1

Instantly! The tool will detect your new posts and submit them directly to search engines with your Google indexing and Bing API keys.

Hi! I'm new to Indie Hackers, and I'm super excited to use it! Already learning so much from here. I'm working on a blog called The Good Startup (thegoodstartup.com) to write about companies saving the world. Would love any thoughts and feedback y'all have on this because I haven't shown anyone yet except for like two friends and a professor

    1. 1

Looks nice, Hannah. I run Tech Jobs for Good & am interested in similar organizations :)
I'd be happy to chat sometime & hear what you have in mind

      1. 1

Amazing! Yes feel free to chat me any time!

Launched Midtype officially, and the paid plan to go with it. It's a developer platform to make it as easy as possible for Frontend engineers build backends for their SaaS products. https://midtype.com.

We're trying to build a low code platform that can automate a lot of the tedious backend integrations required for SaaS applications (like user management, payments, CRM, etc). We'd love feedback on the idea and what kinds of integrations you've had to handle manually for APIs you've built for SaaS products!

  13. 1

I recently finished my MVP of Commit. Tell Commit how many days per week you want to go to the gym, if you don't check-in enough by the end of each week (geolocation), you'll be charged the price you set when committing (stripe).

I built it to replace a manual process my friends and I started where we'd send photos of ourselves to prove we made it to the gym. Feel free to check out out!

  14. 1

Yes I started a project called 2aud.io. It'll be a service that allow you to convert web links, files and plain texts to audio.

The prototype is done and all the sketches should be done within the next few days.

I'll kick off the development in the coming days by using Nuxt.js, AdonisJs, PostgreSQL and Redis.

👉 You can subscribe to be part of the first ones: https://www.producthunt.com/upcoming/2aud-io

    1. 1

How have you found AdonisJs? I am currently trying to choose between AdonisJs and FeatherJs.
The small-sized community of adonis has me a little unsure.

      1. 1

I found it useful and complete. I already have several production microservices running on AdonisJs.

Also I find it's very pleasant to work with. At my day job we migrated our microservices from Sails.js to AdonisJs.

The drawback I can say is sometimes I feel that dealing with the ORM (LuCid) can be a bit messy as it is very complete. One of the main contributors told me they plan to improve it later on.

          1. 1

            You're very welcome! :)

As a 38yo developer with 15+ yr dev experience, of won 7+ as a mobile dev, I started to gain
An intrinsic interest towards building product, SaaS and apps, worked at a startup the past 2 yrs. That all resulted into me starting my own company on 1 July: EEKAY ONLINE.

Still work in progress but I'm basically going to work 3 days a week for a company as an employee (team lead / product propositioning) and the rest is for EO to build my own products and doing consultancy (advice for startups, people with an app idea to work out the "next steps", sharing knowledge on the mobile dev part (cross-platform using hybrid or Xamarin solutions),.. A working cross over since I have a mortgage, 3 Kids and lovely wife and really want to start doing what I love without throwing all in the wager at once.

I really love (eager!!!) I finally got into this, already had a Experience-sharing gigg and have lots of xp and interest and vision to share either through product or consultancy 🤓.

    1. 2

Well done on taking the steps it's much more nerve racking with family to care for, but equally (I find) that drives me even more to make things happen.

I hope you can keep us updated with your progress.

      1. 1

Thanks 🙌🏻both for acknowledging this and having interest 😄 I'll share my story here for sure

Released a beta version of Bidbar: https://www.getbidbar.com/

It's a Mac app that allows you to save Terminal commands in the menu bar and run them with keyboard shortcuts.

  17. 1

I've been trying out my new service: https://www.liroop.com
It's a plugin button platform that allows your customers to pay products $30 or below with just one click.

  18. 1

I started private beta launch for https://chatsilo.com - a mini facebook messenger crm.

I'm having a hard time deciding if I should make a freemium software or make it paid with 7 days free trials.

Guys, please help take a look and advise me

  19. 1

I launched https://Lancerlist.co, it's a directory of freelancers in your city.

  20. 1

    I started working on http://paybutton.app/

Copy-paste checkout buttons for any website.

It’s mainly intended for EU sellers since it automatically calculates VAT taxes.

The ideal fit would be someone who sells coaching sessions over Skype. Do you know anyone like that?

  21. 1

I launched https://www.nerdfeedr.com yesterday! NerdFeedr helps connect creative and technical professionals with clients seeking short-term, remote experts.

  22. 1

Just launched Whobal this week. A marketplace for buying and selling side projects/online businesses.

    Now working on listing verification.

  23. 1

Officially finished my MVP and have been user testing for myself / small number of friends: https://www.candidateone.io

  24. 1

I've started working on the new evergreen version of the Sales for Founders course.

    It'll launch in August.

Also, I'm livestreaming myself making first sales and starting a side project in the podcasting space.

    1. 2

I am in desperate need of sales skills - just signed up!

      1. 1

Great - what are you struggling with?

        1. 1

Selling before I've built anything, and taking resulting experiences/learnings and applying them to building an already validated MVP.

I've made way too many things that go nowhere, that don't solve a problem or that haven't been reasonably validated before putting in all the effort.

  25. 1

Yes, I started a social network for remote workers:

    https://reworkin.com/

  26. 1

I've started my own website https://jaideepbishnoi.com , so far I was working without a website and trying to get clients, finally its up. It requires a few adjustment here and there but its live.

    1. 2

Hey, I was looking at your site and spotted a few bugs you can go nip in the bud.

      • On the contact page's "Send" button the height is oddly short for some reason in my Firefox browser (8.8px)
      • The Dribble link in the footer isn't set up. It's also different than the homepage footer which also has Skype.
      1. 1

        Thanks!
I'll fix these, let me know if you encounter some other weird pesky bugs.
